Numero Dos

Today was my second day of school, and I must say it was better than the first, if for no other reason than that there was no homework today.

But seriously, I had a hang on my schedule, classes started doing things, and I'm getting back into my little groove. And I must say that I do certainly love being in my groove. Yes, my groove is great...

I started "managing" Cross Country today. Its really just 2 simple jobs with a fancy title so as to give me a sports credit necessary for graduating. The jobs are waterboy and timerboy. I'd have to say I feel up to the task.

However, there is more to this second posting. This is my second attempt at updating a blog on a regular basis. The last one was a kinda neat thinger I put together, but ultimately, I was unsatisfied with it. The main reason for being so was that the archives didn't look like the main page. That bothered me to no end.

Secondarily, I felt a need to be substantial in the volume of text in my updates, but not so substantial in the amount of updates. I'm trying to make this blog a daily thing now. The old blog was a Livejournal, and I don't really miss it. The main page had a nice color scheme though...

One way I thought would help me update was to assign different things to different days of the weeks. So in this update, I intend to set a precedent for all other Thursdays I shall post. It will be Review an Old Game Day.

Today's Old Game Review:
_____

Lemming Paintball...

Oh god, what a shittacular game.
I can just imagine the marketting meeting. It begins with some morons toking it up. Then someone draws a little Lemming (from the classic game Lemmings of course) with a weapon blowing up another lemming. All the stoned morons laugh their asses off and think, "We should make that a game." But then they think, "Wait, people might get upset about violence. I know, paintball. They'll play paintball because paint can look like blood. Oh my god, I am so high right now."

But now you just have lemmings shooting each other and no real gameplay, so they through together of games like Commandos and Jagged Alliance with colorful graphics and capture the flag gameplay. The levels range from mind-numbingly easy to unfairly difficult with no real consistensy. Not exactly a great fun experience.

Stay away from this shitter.

Bow down to my awesome-ness for I am nifty!
